Fredrik Eklund

Fredrik Eklund, the energetic, high-kicking, top broker at Douglas Elliman has secured over two billion dollars in closed residential sales. Constantly rated as New York City’ “Top Luxury Broker,” he set record sales in 28 buildings in Manhattan last year alone and is often spotted showing apartments to top name celebrities including Sara Jessica Parker and Jennifer Lopez. His active listings amount to $540,000,000.

Originally from Stockholm, Sweden, Eklund studied at the Stockholm School of Economics  before founding an Internet company and working for the investment bank SEB in Stockholm, London, Singapore and Tokyo. In addition, he is the founder of Scandinavia’s most high end residential real estate brokerage with 50 employees and $1 billion in closed sales in 2014. Eklund founded the #1 top-producing team at Elliman, which has 5,000 agents in 85 offices all over the East Coast.

Eklund is the star of the hit BRAVO show, Million Dollar Listing New York, which is going into its sixth season and author of NYT Bestseller The Sell: The Secrets of Selling Anything to Anyone. He was also featured on Fox’s Page Six television series as well as GQ Magazine in Australia.

He is known for being part “shark” in business and part “softie” at home with his puppies and family.  His honest, charming, and energetic personality has caused him to become a social media sensation with millions of fans following him on various channels.

Daniel Berlind

Daniel Berlind is a real estate executive and the CEO of SNAPPT, a cutting-edge technology company that is disrupting the rental property application process in the multifamily housing market. In addition to SNAPPT, Daniel serves as the President of Berlind Properties and oversees the management of the portfolio and daily activities. Prior to Berlind Properties, Daniel was a professional baseball player for the Chicago Cubs and Minnesota Twins after attending California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.

Mike Brewer

​Mike Brewer comes to the multifamily real estate industry with more than 23 years of experience. Through his passion for people, technology and real estate, Mike has received numerous industry awards, including seven “Property Management Company of the Year” awards under his leadership. As a member of RADCO Residential’s executive leadership team, Mike oversees Operations, Marketing, Revenue Management, Revenue Recovery, Property Transitions and Ancillary Services. Mike also sponsors technology and leadership development initiatives throughout the organization. Before joining RADCO, Mike worked with Mills Properties and Equity Residential in multiple roles including General Manager, Senior Regional Manager and Vice President of Operations. Eric is General Manager, Multifamily at Expedia Group. Formerly CEO, Co-Founder of ApartmentJet, Inc and Entrepreneur in Residence at Fraser McCombs Capital. As CEO of ApartmentJet he led the growth of the sharing economy in the multifamily and single family rental markets. ApartmentJet was acquired October, 2018 by Expedia Group (NASDAQ: EXPE) and is a validation of the growing opportunity in the sharing economy for real estate.

To date, Eric has led the exit of three successful SaaS (Software as a Service) organizations and served as divisional President at RealPage, Inc (NASDAQ:RP). He is widely recognized for his acumen in understanding and solving complex, real world problems.

Daniel Cohen

​Prior to founding daydream in January 2018, Dan worked in real estate private equity for fifteen years. While at Amstar and later Ascentris, he was responsible for the cradle-to-grave performance of more than $800 million of investments, including multifamily and hospitality properties. Dan has a B.A. from Wesleyan University and an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business. He lives in Denver with his family.

Donald Davidoff

Donald is known as a thought leader in the multi-family housing industry, particularly in places where technology and people meet. Perhaps best known for leading the development and implementation of Lease Rent Options TM  (LRO), the industry’s first automated demand forecasting and price optimization system, he is equally accomplished in the areas of eCommerce, marketing and marketing analytics, sales performance improvement and business intelligence.

 

Donald is highly sought for “C suite” consulting on operational issues that drive significant ROI, and by technology vendors for product design and “go to market” strategies.  A former Senior Vice President with 10 years at Archstone, and a former Executive Vice President with Holiday Retirement, Donald works with clients to assess their operational and technology platforms and implement complex, highly impactful projects.

Ian Davis

Ian is a founding member of Davis Craig and a leader in the field of telecommunications transactions. He counsels and represents residential and commercial owners and developers in various telecommunications and technology-related matters, including agreements for telephone, video, Internet and wireless services. Ian has participated in a wide variety of technology transactions on behalf of many of the largest national owners and managers of apartments, condominiums, commercial buildings, master planned communities and hotels.

Alex Enchin

Alex Enchin is a born entrepreneur from Toronto, Canada. Alex and business partner Jeremy Zuker launched WhereiPark (their 2nd venture together) in 2014 after Alex had a painful experience searching for a monthly parking spot. WhereiPark was originally geared towards traditional parking operators but discovered shortly thereafter that multifamily communities were sitting on an untapped supply of parking spaces in urban locations. WhereiPark set out to help multifamily owners/managers monetize those assets by safely renting corporate monthly parking spots through an online platform. Alex and Jeremy spent 18 months building out their platform and team in Canada before launching in the U.S. in early 2017. WhereiPark now has more than 130 communities using its solution, including those owned or managed by Greystar, Equity Residential, AvalonBay, Aimco, Alliance, UDR, Forest City, Camden, Mill Creek and AMLI. WhereiPark has offices in Toronto and Los Angeles.

Ashby Foltz is the Vice President of Product at Rented.com. Rented.com helps property owners make the most of their asset by combining guaranteed income with certified local property management. For multifamily investors and operators, Rented.com offers a range of services to make sense of short-stay opportunities, including independent property revenue due diligence services, performance benchmarking, and short-term accommodation strategy consulting. 

 

Prior to Rented.com, Ashby worked at Serent Capital, which invests in founder-owned fintech, mortgage tech, and travel/hospitality tech businesses. Ashby began his career at McKinsey & Company, serving the world's largest financial sponsors and asset managers as a Private Equity and Principal Investing-focused analyst. Ashby is an Atlanta local, and graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

​Gigi Giannoni

​Gigi Giannoni has been involved in the real estate industry for over 30 years.  During this time, she has been involved with resorts, vacation ownership, for-sale active adult, condominiums and multifamily rentals.  Her expertise spans marketing, sales, operations, design and development, with a strong focus on start-ups.  Currently, Gigi is responsible for the residential and retail marketing, as well as all PR for Gables Residential nationwide. Responsibilities include establishing the short term objectives and long term strategic vision for the company’s marketing efforts. In addition, Gigi oversees the creation, implementation and execution of the deliverables of all branding, creative, advertising, social media, digital, web, communications and public relations efforts. She speaks fluent Spanish and has her MS in Management from Florida Institute of Technology. Robert Grosz

Robert Grosz has been a leader in the real estate and telecommunications industries for over 20 years.  He is committed to helping real estate owners create value from investments in technology by enhancing the resident or guest experience, facilitating connectivity solutions, and by harvesting actionable data to better manage real estate assets. At Boingo Wireless, Grosz leads business development by helping define and execute growth strategies.

 

Prior to his leadership position at Boingo, Grosz led the commercial division of DISH Network and also held roles at telecommunications companies, where he was focused on growing profitable portfolios of rooftop antennas for mobile communications operators and structuring cable television and internet managed services agreements with prominent real estate investment companies. Grosz started his career at Equity Residential in Chicago as a financial analyst and was later promoted to assistant vice president of strategic business development, where he was responsible for negotiating telecommunications agreements between a fast-growing multifamily real estate investment trust and telecommunication providers.

Sharon Hatfield

Sharon Hatfield is President at CF Real Estate Services with oversight for property management operations, corporate and regional marketing, human resources, student living, compliance, construction, maintenance, and education.  Her primary focus at CF is enhancing asset value, accomplished through the management of an operating platform that is centered around customers, clients and employees. 

 

She has over two decades experience, working throughout the country, in the multi-family industry including REITSs, private ownership, and fee management. Before joining CF Real Estate Services, Sharon served in Senior Operations positions with Southern Land Company and Greystar. She began her career in the industry with Archstone where she spent twelve years in various operations roles, including Vice President of National Marketing and Communications. Throughout her career Sharon has been instrumental in realigning support infrastructures, organizing and implementing company rebranding efforts, developing business systems and plans, and arranging marketing efforts for acquisitions and high-end lease-ups. Her expertise has been in high barrier to entry markets and competitive soft markets where she has either lived or operated including Manhattan, Boston, Washington DC, Dallas, Atlanta, Nashville, Raleigh-Durham, Denver, Miami, and Southern California.

Lindsay Hyde

Lindsay Hyde is a Venture Partner at Moderne Ventures. She works strategically with technology companies and members of the Moderne Network to source investments, build synergistic value between industry executives and the companies pushing new boundaries in our industries, and provides operating support to Moderne Portfolio companies.

Before joining Moderne, Lindsay was the co-founder and CEO of Baroo, a multifamily services company that provide services as amenities to leading class A multifamily owners and operators. Earlier in her career, Lindsay founded and served as the Executive Director of the international not-for-profit organization, Strong Women, Strong Girls and worked to drive innovation at both BlackRock and the Downtown Project. Lindsay also serves as a public company director at Monro (NASDAQ: MNRO).

Jaja Jackson

Jaja has more than 13 years of experience in multifamily real estate development and property management, most recently as the President of Emerald Property Management, a division of Emerald Fund, Inc . Throughout his career, Jaja has managed thousands of luxury apartment and condominium units in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Equally important is Jaja’s background in technology:  He co-founded Mascot Network, a “Facebook for Colleges”  after graduating from Harvard Business School in 1999.  Jaja’s depth of experience in asset management and internet technology led him to Airbnb in 2015, where he now leads Airbnb’s global multifamily housing partnership strategy.   Jaja holds a BA in Government from Harvard College, and a MBA from Harvard Business School.

Jason Kamen

Jason Kamen leads the West Coast for WhyHotel as the Director of New Market Real Estate. Based in San Francisco, Jason has been working in real estate development and operations since 2002. Most recently, Jason was the Senior Regional Asset Manager for Crescent Heights, a national developer and owner of properties across all asset types. Jason led all of Crescent Heights’ California operations with a team of over 150 personnel, focusing on ultra-luxury apartment rentals, some with rents topping $67,000 per month. Jason was recognized as the California Apartment Association’s Property Manager of the Year in 2014 and San Francisco’s Apartment Association’s Manager of the Year in 2015.

Leslie Mathis is the owner of Streamline Multifamily Group, a consulting firm that specializes in providing clients with strategic business practices with regards to new construction management, renovation, and operational needs within the apartment industry. Leslie is also the Asset Manager for Woodfield Investments overseeing a portfolio of 5000 units throughout the southeast and mid-Atlantic. She has 18 years of multifamily experience and served in a multi-site role for the more than 13 years. Prior to launching Streamline Multifamily Group, Leslie was a Regional Property Manager with Greystar, overseeing a portfolio from Wilmington, NC to the Triad. Khushbu Sikaria

Khushbu Sikaria is heading a newly-formed organizational area for Bozzuto that will focus on long-term innovation strategy and product development. In her new role, she will work with start-ups, venture capital firms and strategic partners to ensure the company remains at the forefront of the evolving real estate tech environment.

Previously, she oversaw upfront project planning and business development as the Vice President of Advisory Services. She has been integral to the growth and expansion of Bozzuto Management Company, including increasing the company’s portfolio to 68,000 in FY17. Khushbu was responsible for new project acquisitions, client retention and implementing Bozzuto Management Company’s Strategic Plan. Before her role as Vice President, Khushbu was the Director of Brand Development. She joined Bozzuto in 2011 as the company’s Social Marketing Strategist and subsequently served as a Marketing Manager for a portfolio of stabilized and lease-up properties.

Susan Vickery

​Sue has been with TCR since 2000. Based in Austin, she performs the Resident Experience role for the western US. In her position, she is involved in the predevelopment process, plan review and interior design direction, determining overall property themes and sourcing the latest technologies and amenities for inclusion in each deal.  Prior to moving exclusively into a development role in 2016, Sue ran Asset Management for the western US, where she was responsible for a portfolio valued up to  $1.3 billion.  Sue also oversaw the placement of equity from TCR’s acquisition fund with AEW, and served as the Fort Hood housing Operations Director. Prior to joining TCR, Sue was Vice President of Acquisitions for CWS Apartment Homes, LLC, placing over $25 million of equity in two years and purchasing 10 multi-family properties in a variety of markets. Josh is a proven leader with experience in local, national and global hospitality organizations. While starting his career in hotel F&B, Josh completed is MBA at the Beedie School of Business in Vancouver. Taylor Wiederkehr

Taylor Wiederkehr is a Technological Innovation Veteran with experience in system architecture, system integration, and the development and maintenance of complex and critical business systems and networks. During Taylor's previous tenure working with Ford Motor Company, he successfully architect-ed, led development of, and coordinated the national implementation of what is now considered to be the standard for how Ford captures, manages, and distributes consumer information to its network of dealerships nationwide. 

 

Prior to working with Ford, Mr. Wiederkehr established himself as an accomplished entrepreneur selling his first technology company EET, a subsidiary of Eagle Eye Advertising, a text message based advertisement firm, while in college pursuing a BS degree in Computer Information Systems from Tarleton State University. In his previous role as the leader of the ARC Innovations Team at Alliance Residential Company, his team successfully negotiated and announced their national partnership with Google, Nest, and Dwelo, to deploy 25,000 smart apartments across the nation, the largest smart home technology adoption ever conceived at that time.

 

In his newest role as the Director of Innovation Services at BH Management Services, LLC., Taylor is responsible for driving innovative projects & research, the vetting and piloting of new and emerging technologies, and continuing to drive productive collaboration between emerging start-ups and fortune 100 vendors within the multifamily industry.

Stephen Wink

Stephen Wink is a partner in the New York office of Latham & Watkins.
